Our Women’s Health Team has experience in treating women’s health issues of all kinds. These range from Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and chronic pelvic pain), DRAM (Divarication of Abdominis Muscles, also known as Diastasis Recti), Pelvic Girdle Pain (or Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction) and other muscle and joint pains (most commonly in the lower back, pelvis, ribs and shoulders).

Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor Claire Gurney and Soft Tissue Therapist Sofia Hancy are trained to treat all women’s health related issues, including issues arising both antenatally and postnatally. Are you suffering symptoms of menopause?

Most women will experience menopausal symptoms at some time in their lives. For most, this will occur between the ages of 45 and 55, but for many women, it can be as early as their 30’s. Whilst menopause can have a significantly negative impact on women’s health and overall quality of life, physiotherapy can both relieve and mitigate many of the symptoms.
