About Sam

Sam Kent began working in the health and fitness industry at 17, where he worked as a personal trainer whilst completing his BSc in Sport and Exercise Science before moving on to his MSc in Physiotherapy.

Since graduating, he has worked in a number of clinical settings, gaining valuable experience in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.

Sam’s clinical interests include shoulder pain and running injuries. He believes that in helping patients to fully understand their pain, they are better equipped to manage and resolve the issue for good. Sam frequently draws on his experience in strength and conditioning to develop a programme that optimises recovery.

Outside of work, Sam keeps active by playing football, cycling, running and snowboarding. This often strenuous activity means that he is no stranger to also playing the patient role!
